Four Hands Soapy Massage: Is There Room for Three?

With one therapist, lather is raised, spread and rinsed in cycles. With two, the cycles overlap. One raises fresh foam while the other spreads it; one rinses while the other keeps you warm with a towel over the shoulders; the back and the legs are worked at the same time rather than one after the other. The rhythm is quicker and the sensation fuller, since contact arrives from two directions and never stops while water is being fetched. The two therapists usually know each other and have worked together before. That matters in a small space, where two people who do not share a rhythm get in each other's way.

The bathroom test

Stand in your bathroom and imagine yourself seated on a stool in the middle of the shower area, with one person kneeling behind you and another at your side. If that picture fits, four hands soapy is possible. In practice that means:

• a walk-in shower of at least a metre and a half on its longer side, or a large wet room;
• a bathtub wide enough for one therapist to work from each side, with a handheld shower;

Every two-therapist booking, whatever the date or length, is confirmed with half of the fee sent in advance by card, Revolut, Wise or crypto, because two diaries close at once. For a single guest's two-hour booking that is €360 ahead and €360 handed over on arrival, in cash, by card or in crypto. Deposits are not refunded if the booking is cancelled, though the date can be moved once when asked for more than twenty-four hours ahead.

Booking it

Write four hands soapy, your hotel or street, the time, the length and a sentence about the bathroom, ideally its size and whether it has a bath. If you have a pair in mind from the profiles, name both. The confirmation comes back in about ten minutes and the two therapists arrive together, forty to sixty minutes later anywhere in the centre. The pair, like the guest they visit, will be twenty-one at the very least.
