Four Hands Soapy Massage: Is There Room for Three?
Four hands soapy massage brings two therapists into one bathroom. Whether your hotel bathroom can hold it, how the lather is shared, and what the pair costs.
Four hands is usually booked with gel, where two therapists move over one guest on a wide bed. The request for four hands soapy massage is rarer, and it comes with an obvious question: can a hotel bathroom hold three people and still leave room for foam, water and movement? Sometimes it can, often it cannot, and the answer is worth knowing before you book two therapists and a pair of bags of towels.
How four hands soapy massage works
With one therapist, lather is raised, spread and rinsed in cycles. With two, the cycles overlap. One raises fresh foam while the other spreads it; one rinses while the other keeps you warm with a towel over the shoulders; the back and the legs are worked at the same time rather than one after the other. The rhythm is quicker and the sensation fuller, since contact arrives from two directions and never stops while water is being fetched. Guests who have tried it describe it as busier and more enveloping than the single-therapist version, but still light, because foam keeps every hand moving.
The two therapists usually know each other and have worked together before. That matters in a small space, where two people who do not share a rhythm get in each other's way.
The bathroom test
Stand in your bathroom and imagine yourself seated on a stool in the middle of the shower area, with one person kneeling behind you and another at your side. If that picture fits, four hands soapy is possible. In practice that means:
- a walk-in shower of at least a metre and a half on its longer side, or a large wet room;
- a bathtub wide enough for one therapist to work from each side, with a handheld shower;
- floor space outside the shower where one of them can stand dry to fetch towels and foam.
A cubicle with a folding door, a narrow bath under a sloping ceiling, or a bathroom where the door opens inwards over the shower tray will not work for three. In those rooms the reply will suggest another shape for the evening: four hands on the bed with gel, described in four hands nuru explained, perhaps opened by a short single-therapist soapy rinse while the other therapist prepares the sheet.
Combining soapy and four hands in a longer booking
The combination that works in most rooms is sequential. The session begins in the bathroom with one therapist and lather, while the second warms the gel and lays the waterproof sheet on the bed. Once you are rinsed and dried, both therapists continue on the bed. This uses each space for what it does well, and it means a modest bathroom is no obstacle. It needs at least ninety minutes, and two hours is more comfortable. Say in the first message that you would like both, and whether the bathroom is large enough for the soapy part to be done by two.
Rates for two therapists
Two therapists attending one guest are charged on the single-client, two-therapist row: €360 for an hour, €540 for ninety minutes, €720 for two hours and €1,080 for three. If a couple books two therapists, one each, the figures move to the couple row, €720 for an hour and €1,440 for two. The full table is in every therapist profile, and the four hands nuru page covers pairing in more depth.
Every two-therapist booking, whatever the date or length, is confirmed with half of the fee sent in advance by card, Revolut, Wise or crypto, because two diaries close at once. For a single guest's two-hour booking that is €360 ahead and €360 handed over on arrival, in cash, by card or in crypto. Deposits are not refunded if the booking is cancelled, though the date can be moved once when asked for more than twenty-four hours ahead.
Booking it
Write four hands soapy, your hotel or street, the time, the length and a sentence about the bathroom, ideally its size and whether it has a bath. If you have a pair in mind from the profiles, name both. The confirmation comes back in about ten minutes and the two therapists arrive together, forty to sixty minutes later anywhere in the centre. The pair, like the guest they visit, will be twenty-one at the very least.
