• hang wet coats and shoes in the bathroom or by the door, not near the bed;
• turn the heating up high as soon as the booking is confirmed, and leave it there;
• close the curtains fully, which cuts the draught from single glazing;
• take a hot shower yourself if you came in wet, so you start the session warm.

How long to book on a rainy afternoon

Rain is one of the few reasons guests book longer than they planned. Without a sight to rush to, ninety minutes or two hours feels natural, and the glide has time to settle into its rhythm. Rates, deposit and booking

With one therapist and one guest, a session costs €180 for an hour, €270 for ninety minutes and €360 for two hours, whatever the weather. Two therapists for a single guest are €360 an hour. A first booking with the house, and any booking made for a later day, is confirmed with half of the fee sent by card, Revolut, Wise or crypto; a guest the house already knows can pay a same-day hour or two entirely when she arrives.
