Naked nuru massage is the gel ritual taken at its word. Nuru has never worked through fabric, since a single layer of cotton drinks the gel and drags where the stroke should glide, so in this format both of you are bare from the moment the sheet is spread, and nothing is folded back, tucked in or lifted away. What remains is skin, warmth and a surface slippery enough for the whole length of her to travel the whole length of you. It is brought to your Amsterdam hotel room or apartment, outcall only, at any hour.
What to expect
She arrives dressed like anyone crossing a lobby late in the evening, one bag over her shoulder, and nothing about the format begins until the door has shut behind her. Payment comes first, in cash of any major currency, by card or in crypto, and then a few unhurried minutes of preparation: the thermostat nudged up, the lamps lowered, the waterproof sheet smoothed over the bed and the gel set to warm. Undressing happens at your pace rather than hers. There is no robe to hand over and no towel to arrange, so most guests simply lie face down on the sheet while she undresses beside the bed, and the first warm pour lands on the small of the back. From there the work is long and patient: forearms, the flat of her stomach, the inside of her arm and the length of her thigh, each used as a broad, even surface. Around the midpoint she asks you to roll over, and the gel makes turning slow and faintly comic, which tends to dissolve whatever awkwardness is left. The hour closes in the shower, rinsed clean, and she dresses again before leaving as quietly as she came.
Who it suits
It suits the guest who decided long ago that a towel is a formality he can do without, and the one who tried nuru somewhere else in a disposable garment and found that the paper tore and the glide never arrived. It suits people entirely at ease in their own skin and, perhaps more surprisingly, people who are not, because being unclothed from the first minute removes the drawn-out question of when. An hour is enough to understand it; ninety minutes lets the slowness settle.
What it leaves you with
Chiefly an absence: of fabric, of the small negotiations over what stays covered, of the sense of being worked around a garment. Without those interruptions attention has nowhere to go but warmth and weight, and guests tend to call it afterwards the least self-conscious hour they have spent in a long time. Skin is left soft from the seaweed and faintly warm for a while after the rinse.
Origin
Nudity was never an addition to nuru; it was the starting condition. The format grew up inside Japanese bathing culture, where washing is done unclothed and in company as a matter of course, and where a body without clothes carries far less charge than it does in most of Europe. When the seaweed gel moved from the bath to the mat, clothing had no part in the arrangement, because the gel makes clothing pointless. The European habit of draping, one limb uncovered at a time, belongs to the clinical massage table instead, and what naked massage undoes on any menu is precisely that habit. In a nuru house the undoing was never needed, so the word naked on this page is less a promise of something extra than a plain account of how the work has always been done.
The technique itself
Bare skin changes the physics of the stroke. Gel spread over fabric thickens and clings, while on skin it stays a thin warm film that lets a forearm or a hip travel from shoulder to heel without catching once. She works in broad surfaces rather than points: the outer thigh for the long passes down the back, the forearm for the shoulders, the torso for the slow full-length glides the technique is known for. Pressure comes from lowering her weight and letting it slide rather than from pushing, and because nothing on either body snags, one movement can run for half a minute. The gel is topped up from the warm bottle whenever it thins, and the room is kept warm enough that an unclothed body never has to brace against a draught, since tensing against cold would undo everything the glide is doing.

Is the therapist unclothed as well, or only me?
Both of you. The technique relies on skin meeting skin across a large area, so she undresses once the sheet is spread and the bottle has warmed, and stays that way until the rinse at the end. She arrives and leaves fully dressed, and nothing about the format happens outside your room.
What if I would rather keep something on at the start?
Say so and it is respected without comment. Some guests begin under a towel and set it aside once the gel is warm; others keep underwear on for the first stretch. Bear in mind that gel soaks into fabric and stops gliding wherever cotton sits, so anything left on tends to come off of its own accord before long.
Does naked nuru cost more than the standard session?
No. It is €180 for one hour, €270 for ninety minutes and €360 for two, the same ladder as every other technique we offer, with no supplement for a late hour, a weekend or a journey inside the ring. With two therapists the rate becomes €360 an hour.
Is this a sensible choice for my very first nuru?
Yes, and there is a good argument for it. Nuru is nearly always given unclothed anyway, so choosing this page mostly means knowing in advance what the hour looks like rather than signing up for something more. If being unclothed with someone new is the part that gives you pause, mention it; she will begin slowly and the warm gel does much of the rest.
